Philtranco coaches operate regularly throughout the day from Cubao, Manila for Mindanao, passing Caticlan on the Strong Republic Nautical Highway and the journey will take around 12 hours.

The central market, also known as Talipapa, offers a range of beach wear fashion shops, specialty shops, small to medium sized supermarkets and a fruit and fish / meat department.
