7 places you must visit while in London


London – one of Europe’s largest cities, full of cultural monuments, great museums, beautiful gardens and exciting nightlife. No Londer that more than 26 million people visit London every year. Any visit to London is one of his own expereince. London, no matter how many times have you been since you always enjoy it, to visit again and some new and exciting places to do things to meet people. For those of you who have never been to London have been here are just some of the attractions that have attracted my attention

Big Ben. London Clock Tower 
The London Clock Tower has become one of the symbols of London. Big Ben is actually the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the northern end of the Palace of Westminster in London. It is the largest four-faced clock tower and the third highest free-standing bell tower in the world. The clock is ticking even started 31st May 1859.
The bell tower looks spectacular at night when the four clock faces are lit.

* Big Ben’s minute hand is 14 feet long (4.26 meters)

British Museum
The world famous British Museum exhibits the works of man from prehistoric to modern times from around the world. Highlights include the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon sculptures and mummies of Ancient Egypt collection. Admission is free, but tickets can be special.

National Gallery

The National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of Western European painting in the world. It shows Western European painting from about 1250 to 1900. You will love to see works by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Gainsborough, Turner, Renoir, Cezanne and Van Gogh. There are special exhibitions, lectures, video-and audio-visual programs, guided tours and holiday events for children and adults. Admission is free, but require special tickets.

Tower of London
The Tower of London, a historic castle and once in prison, is the city’s most spectacular and popular attraction and for good reason. One of the greatest temptations of the Tower are the Crown Jewels, a rich and interesting collection of coronation crowns and ornaments, and the Royal Armories, enter one of the best collections of arms and armor from the Middle Ages. The tower has a prison tower for Princess Elizabeth (the future Elizabeth I), St. Thomas More, Henry VI, Anne Boleyn (beheaded in the Tower) have been. The death of the sons of Edward IV in the “Bloody Tower” are among the most famous intrigue as occurring at the Tower.
